“We” or “us” refers to Mackenzie Fit Limited.
We collect, use and are responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (to the extent that this has been incorporated into United Kingdom law) and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified throughout the course of your engagement; you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy and the appropriate data protection laws.

It's very important that you notify us of any personnel changes to any of your details at your earliest convenience, please pop in and complete a change of details form to give to your Mackenzie Fit representative of change of address, phone number for instance, so we can keep your records fully up to date.
What we do with the information we gather
Should you contact us in relation to potential agency or work opportunities, we may use this information to contact you in relation to your application to help process your application and, should you be successful, to assist us in establishing and maintaining our engagement of you, in order to comply with our contractual obligations to you and where necessary, provide this information to relevant third parties such as our external payroll provider, or to assist us in securing agency work for you with third party employers.
We may be required to retain personal information about you for a reasonable period beyond the term of your engagement where that information, for example, is required to construct an employment reference at your request.
We will not share, sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties without your permission or unless required during your engagement by us other than for the limited exceptions listed below:

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and organisational procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
